| Introduction | Amanda and I are experts at living with cancer. As a young couple, cancer has been the third wheel in our entire marriage (except during the two weeks of our honeymoon). For the past six years, cancer has been a part of every decision that we make as a couple and as individuals. Since my initial Stage IV Colorectal Cancer diagnosis in 2004, we have faced devastating setbacks, defeated challenging obstacles, and shared powerful victories. Although cancer is omnipresent in our marriage and in our lives, it has failed to control us.
