| Introduction | To understand what this blog is about see the first two posts. I have been dabbling with my family research since I was a teenager. Because of this work I have met some incredible people, some related, some not. I've travelled to places that I would have not otherwise gone to or even known about. Life often got in the way of my research but after a hiatus I have always returned to this obsessive hobby. My family is not interested in family research so I do this labour of love for myself. I realized along the way that the names, dates and places are going to be there for a long time to come but the stories will disappear forever unless those who know them, share them. On this blog I intend to share stories that emanate from my great grandmother's photo album in the hope that some other researchers may also be researching these people.
