| Introduction | I'm a recently retired teacher educator. I have a long and varied career as a teacher and researcher at Brown, Harvard, Boston College, UMass-Boston and the University of Bologna, Italy. I've also worked with teachers of English in Egypt, Brazil and Korea. In my next phase of life I plan to move my professional life into the background and bring other passions forward. I'm learning to ride my horse, Caleb, and I paint regularly with a wonderful group of women pastel painters on the South Shore. |
