| Introduction | Free Your Mind is a campaign founded be me, Nicola Edwards. The aim of the campaign is to combat stigma towards mental illness through the use of art, music, film and culture. I came up with the idea for the campaign after suffering discrimination towards my mental illness for many years. And it was during a stay in a psychiatric hospital, after suffering abuse at the hands of the staff, that I felt something needed to be done. |
