IntroductionChuck Hoffman a painter designer and workshop facilitator received his BFA from Miami University and worked as an Associate Creative Director for the Walt Disney Company. He received the 2009-2010 Art & Innovation Fellowship Award from Luther Seminary to work on his master’s degree and became their first full time Artist In Residence. He is a 2010-2011 Merit Scholarship Recipient to continue his work at Luther. Chuck along with his wife Peg Carlson-Hoffman founded Genesis+Art Studio. Together they have created and facilitate classes such as Painting as Prayer and Beyond the Word. Their art has been in worship services at several Florida Annual Conferences. Recent solo shows include Luther Seminary United Theological Seminary Central Lutheran Church Minneapolis Garmin Corporate Gallery 19 Below and Saint Paul School of Theology all in Kansas City. They also have shown work at White Stone Gallery Philadelphia and are part of the permanent collections of The Museum of Biblical Art Dallas Luther Seminary St. Paul and Forthspring Inter Community Center Belfast Northern Ireland.
