| Introduction | I live with my partner and love-of-my-life, Paul, and our free spirited little girl, Safiya. I’m fortunate to be able to spend my time with some really great friends who keep me laughing and open to new possibilities. Right now my life revolves around Safiya and usually takes place within a 5 mile radius of our home (I’ve become well acquainted with the tot parks in our area). I’m a Christian and have an active spiritual life. I’m also a feminist and, in 5 weeks, will be a BCASW recognized, anti-oppressive social worker. |
| Interests | There are lots of things I really love doing. At the top of my list are running, hiking, hanging out with friends, reading historical fiction or biographies, thinking about ideas, walking, and painting. These days it seems like my interests are getting crowded out by dirty diapers and peekabo but I still fight to maintain some sense of myself outside of being Safiya’s mommy. |
