| Introduction | Was in a bad place health-wise in '09. Was told I'd never heal from an autoimmune disease, but that I could "manage" it through steroids--that scared me! I prayed to God & was led to a healthier way of eating. Didn't go the steroid route, but I've followed the advice of 2 other people who have healed from the same autoimmune diseases. God healed me from annual laryngitis (2009), frequent migraines (2010), dry bloodshot eyes (2010), eczema (2012), & anemia (2013). I joined a badminton competition (2013), climbed Mt. Pulag (2015), & ran my first 42k (2016) even w/ scoliosis, & w/ my longest run prior to sign-up being 7k! Praise God alone! I'm still learning (often making mistakes) & still healing! Disclosure: I feel my absolute best on raw, along with what I think are excellent vitamins, probiotics & enzymes. I'm not 100% raw though. I also eat cooked, minimally processed (& sometimes non-plantbased food every now & then. Ask me about raw vegan potlucks & tell a friend to come w/ you! Also, & I can't emphasize this enough-encouragement & prayer are always welcome! |
