About me

IndustryNon-Profit
LocationNew York City, New York, United States
IntroductionI currently teach ESL in the south Bronx. I'm in the process of collecting histories of my students and compiling them along with the interesting stories they tell. Before teaching English, I got two Master's degrees in Belgium: European Studies and Social and Cultural Anthropology. Before that, I taught preschool and before that I studied Family Studies for my undergrad. I'm interested in the immigrant experience and in particular the family dynamics during and after immigration.
