| Introduction | I belong to the Rotary Club of Bend High Desert (District 5110) located in Bend, Oregon. I have been a Rotarian for 14 years. I am married to PDG Walt Schloer who is a 34 year Rotarian with 34 years of Perfect Attendance. I am a web designer and focus on working with non-profit organizations only. I am the liaison between my District and five other Districts which have adopted the District Leadesrhip Academy program. I helped found the Academy program in 1998 and have been the webmaster and instructor for Course #1 since the beginning. Since the Academy's founding I've been privileged to work with more than 300 Rotarians who have gone on after graduation to serve their clubs and their districts. I am proud to say that this program has trained nearly 3 dozen District Governors in the past 12 years and more than 100 Assistant Governors. |
