Introduction	Hi Everyone! My name is Shannon and I just LOVE the weather. I live in SC with my husband and puppy. I'm a southern California girl at heart, but have lived in the south since 1999. I currently work as an Environmental Scientist but studied meteorology in college. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work at the Weather Channel for a little over a year during and after college before moving to the upstate. I miss being there, but I think things ended up the way they were supposed to for me...and I wouldn't have it any other way :) I have a passion for severe storms and have always dreamed of being a storm chaser. Although I've not yet had the opportunity to chase, nor have I ever even seen a tornado in real life, I hope to soon! (maybe as early as this spring! anybody want to join me?) I enjoy soccer, golf (sorta), the outdoors and music. I've played the flute since I was 9, and am just starting to learn to play the guitar. I'm an abc family junky, and just LOVE Glee and Disney movies! I hope that you enjoy my blog! I'm excited to share my thoughts about the weather to anyone who's interested in reading it. But mostly I'm doing this for me! :)
