Introduction	Hi. This blog site updates all that is new from me in terms of creative writing. The site tracks me as I’m writing a novel – an ambitious project, started on March 1st 2010. Firstly, I write 200,000 words, so it’s all about getting the words down on the page. Then I “craft” the novel, making sure it is properly ordered and it all flows together. Then I edit the text. During the second part of this editing phase, I plan to have a team of people helping me. I plan to finish the novel by the end of 2013. The novel is about a young man (based on myself) who thinks deeply about things. He finds himself to be quite different to everyone else. As the book progresses, he goes on a journey inside himself and out. Along the way, he meets some wise and unusual characters, joins a hospital radio station and a telephone support charity and finds himself working in the world of adult entertainment. I don’t claim it’s going to be a good novel, but it’s certainly an interesting journey and it’s fun to track its progress on here. I also write short stories, poems etc and will try and give some updates on here. And write blogs about what I’m doing in between.
