Introduction	Hello there, fellow eaters, cheaters and indulgers! My name is G and I'm a South African born casual foodie and wino--hence the title of my blog, "Lekker & Liquor." Lekker is a South African slang term for "awesome" or just plain COOL! And liquor, well, because didn't you hear me? I'm South African and we only drink on days that end in "y". I started this blog because sometimes I make delicious things to stuff in my face and I think you should be able to stuff them in your face too. Favorite movies	Obviously I have a wide range of movies I love, but of those related to my ULTIMATE favourite thing, food: Julie & Julia and Ratatouille.
Favorite music	Whatever I happen to be listening to whilst dancing around in my kitchen. This can be anything from New Orleans jazz to country to The Killers or Jack Johnson.
Favorite books	Recipe books. All the recipe books. "Mastering The Art of French Cooking" is the most magnificent, drool-worthy read.
