| Introduction | Remember that it is not how or when you start, it's how you finish! Chef Manlove is known for her dishes that range from Spanish, to Asian, to down-home Southern Comfort. She’s entered 50 food competition contests and has won or placed as a finalist in over two dozen. I strive to learn from those that went before me in the industry and have respect for the Craft! But gosh, this is fun too! I often find myself reflecting on the words from Julia Child life and culinary journey and ask "What Would Chef Julia Child Do?" One thing for sure I know that "Great Eats Start Here!" After retiring from corporate America and the Space Shuttle Program I went back to school, earned a certification in the Culinary Arts and changed careers to fit my passion and long delayed dream of being in the food industry! I am living proof that all things as possible when you work hard, never stop learning and put yourself out there. SInce beginning this encore career, I have done exciting things, mentored to local youths, donated to local great causes through cooking appearances and keep it cool, calm and fascinating! Bon Vivant is my slogan! |
