About me

Introduction	I am a Christ-follower. I believe that God made me for a purpose, and that when I live that purpose, I bring him glory. Part of that is making - creating - a reflection of my Creator. I love making beautiful things and sharing the making with others. My desire is that you would see and experience the love of God shining though my life. I am a wife. I teach secondary science - both middle and high school. This means that during the school year, my life compresses into a focus on my job and during the summer I get all of the weekends I missed during the school year. I love backpacking, and when we can, my husband and I will stuff our backpacks and make a beeline for the hills. If I could learn how to do anything that is a little further outside my comfort zone, I’d learn how to build furniture. But saws scare me a little. In this space I post free crochet patterns, craft ideas, and my thoughts on faith and living simply.
