| Introduction | I started out with Welsh Mountain Ponies, and still have most of them because I fear for their futures should I part with them. A natal herd of 8 run together, and provide me with great visual pleasure and lots of exercise, while I provide them with food, shelter, hoof and vet care, and small indulgences. As they are aging, and several have suffered laminitis in the past they are in their 'forever' home, and will not be sold or given away. When their lives are no longer comfortable, they will be humanely euthanized with a mouth full of grain and carrots, and be buried on the farm. |
