| Introduction | I have been painting with oils for about 3 years. I am so grateful to the wonderful art mentors who have taught me and helped me improve. My teachers have generously shared their knowledge, skills, tips, and tricks. My fellow students have practiced their critiquing abilities, urging me to strive to do better by taking those final steps. My art club friends and colleagues provide the much needed community of like-minded artists who understand the need to create and the struggle to do it well. |
