| Introduction | Originally the blog was a simple story of moving to the swake. The swake was a term we coined in our home to keep the peace. My husband claimed we lived by a lake, but the lake dried up years ago and we live by a swamp, a beautiful swamp, but still it is a swamp. So to keep the matrimonial harmony we combined the words swamp and lake and now we tell people we live by the swake. It's a beautiful place and we love it, everyday is a gift and an adventure. Words, like life are complex and wonderful. The blog is a venue to tell life stories and connect unexpected dots with words.
