| Interests | Multidisciplinary artist from Canada. Since 2001, He has been living in Japan, pursuing video, painting and collage work as well as sound art and music. His work has been exhibited at galleries and art centers in Japan, France, Spain, Canada and the United States. Since 2007, he has been actively involved in creating string instruments called slitars, three of which are being shown as a permanent installation at the ECHIGO-TSUMARI ARE TRIENNALE. He is the organizer of TAKEDAO TUNNEL ART EVENT, an annual event welcoming all genres of performances. As a sound artist and musician, he is involved in experimental music bands SMOULDERING DOOR and FAKE FUR ROOM. |
