Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
Hmmmm, that is a very good question. . . I do often misspell sponge and tongue, and I am generally thristy, so there may be something to that. . . but then again, I misspell a lot of non-thristy words as well.
