| Introduction | I have studied at the Academia di Belle Arti in Florence, Italy, the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Geneva, Switzerland, the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris, France, the Art Students League of New York, the New York Academy of Art, the Center for Living Artists (NY), National Academy of Design (NY), Repin Academy of Art, St. Petersburg, Russia, UC Berkeley, Calif., San Jose University, Calif. I have taught classes for over 35 years in painting, portraiture, life painting, plein air landscape painting, life drawing, quick figure sketching, drawing and composition (click on www.classart.org)among many other subjects. I taught color etching and was a master printer (deep plate etching)for twelve years at Appletree Etchers Inc. Press. Currently, I teach at the Palo Alto Art Center, the College of San Mateo and the California Academy of Painters. I am an adjunct Professor at Cogswell College.
