Introduction	Originally, We Don't Buy It was about my family's life experiment of not buying new things for a year in 2008. We mostly did it and learned a lot about our relationship to things. Now, this blog is more about the ideas we don't buy. Oh, so many awful ideas and pressures out there. We're rejecting a lot of them--ideas that keep people boxed in, and stuck. We're going our own way. We still don't buy it.
