| Introduction | I am a Botswana based poet who runs SAUTI an arts management organization. I am former Chairperson of The Writers Association of Botswana as well as founding member (alumni) of Botswana's acclaimed Exoduslivepoetry! collective, who coordinated Botswana's then sole annual poetry festival between 2004 and 2009. A 2005/06 participant in the British Council’s Crossing Borders project I have since partnered with them on a number of initiatives including the 2007/08 Power in the Voice(PIV) initiative as mentor to the PIV national champions. I have performed/read poetry in places including the United Kingdom, USA, Denmark, India, France, South Africa, Sweden and Zimbabwe. A number of my poems have been translated into Chinese, German and Spanish. |
