| Introduction | I am a retired father and grandfather. I am widowed, having been married to my best friend for almost 47 joyful years. I affectionately called her SWMBO- She Who Must Be Obeyed. We have two adult children, a boy and a girl. Our son is married and has two wonderful sons. My daughter is also married and has two sweet adorable daughters. I retired as a police Lieutenant after being a police officer for over 30 years. I am a college graduate and a bit of an autodidact. I love to read on a variety of subjects. I am a Christian, that is, a follower of Jesus Christ. I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is therefore true in all respects. I hasten to add that I AM NOT PERFECT! I am still trying to live right and figure things out, often without success. |
