| Introduction | Hi there, I'm Laurel Lynn Leake and I make comics! I'm a white, queer, and mentally ill artist trying to put things out in the world and do what I can to support people even though I don't get out much! I love layered storytelling that combines realistic characters with fantastic elements, art that blurs the lines between poetry and prose, and designing and self-publishing comics online and in print. I believe in art as a space we can build for each other where personal and cultural reinvention can flourish! I graduated with my MFA from the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2013, and currently live in Providence, RI.
