| Introduction | A little bit about me- I live in East Texas with my three dogs,one snugly cat, as well as rescue and foster animals. I am the Mother of three grown sons and the grandmother "Boo-Boo", to my little "Missy Boo-Boo," Charley Rae Furrh. My precious, precious one. I am a graduate of The University of Texas Tyler, with a double degree in Guidance and Counseling and Sociology. I worked in social Work for 20 years before becoming a published writer, columnist,and author, I write to enrich and inspire humankind. I believe the following speaks of my heart and my commitment to life, not only for our children though adults and animals as well, “Every child deserves the right to hold their head up high with dignity and pride, and no one has the right to take that away from them.” I am passionate about life, love, our world and all that we are so blessed to have in it. I am a true Southern girl, as well, and as Grace Anne’s mother, I help her learn the important lessons in and of life. p.s. Dance in the rain as often as you can! |
| Interests | Spending time with my family, volunteering, reading, cooking decorating, gardening and of course meeting people. |
| Favorite Music | I adore music, absolutely adore it! I have used music therapy with clients, and I find it a lovely pallet to write with. There is so very much inspiration in music. It can take you back to a certain place in time, it can create energy, or speak of how important our great Country is and much, much more. I love the oldies and country for sure! |
