Introduction	Hi, I'm Mel (yes, I'm a gal!), and I've finally decided to start blogging. I'm a military brat, military wife, mother, reservist, operating room nurse and now a blogger. I've been married for over 20 years, and have two kids. I'll refer to them as Thing 1 and Thing 2. For obvious reasons, I will not publish our real names, simply because there are two many whack jobs out there, and I don't want to have a murder charge levied against me if someone were to threaten my family. I live in Nebraska, after living all over the world, but claim the DC metro area as home. I'm an avid West Virginia University fan, and absolutely love football. I am extremely outspoken and my blog is my opinion only. This is not to be taken as law and gospel. Anyone can comment, and if you disagree with me, that's fine, because I don't really give a rat's ass. I'm neither right or left-wing. I'm a moderate, and politics will be discussed greatly on my blog. I welcome everyone's feedback. This is supposed to be fun, informative and of course, extremely sarcastic. So please enjoy!
