| Introduction | I am a former paramedic, and former customer service representative for a hospital, turned teacher eleven years ago. I taught high school social studies courses for seven years and now am a certified library media specialist with a master's in educational technology. My step-daughter is 22 and attends Syracuse University as a journalism major in her senior year. My 14 year old son Jimmy is kind, well-mannered, smart, a voracious reader, and a baseball phenom. My 10 year old son Josh is laid-back, kind, well-mannered, a math whiz, a lover of the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, and also a baseball phenom. Jim, my husband, is the emergency medical manager for the 9 counties in northwestern Michigan and extremely laid-back, quiet, incredibly creative and my best friend. |
