| Introduction | The mixperiment is an ongoing music exchange project in Victoria, BC. Each month a date, time, and place is announced for the next installment of the mixperiment. I will arrive promptly with a mix cd that I've made. Participants come by with a mix that they've made (and sushi if they're keen), and we'll trade. The next person to approach with a mix trades their own for the one I've just received. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. You can make a themed cd, a cd from a certain genre, novelty music, songs that are under three minutes, things you love that no one's heard about, things you love that everyone's heard about. Music and people of all genres, eras, and tastes are welcome, but brain-eating Zombies need not apply! Write the track list, make a cover, leave your e-mail address so the recipient can tell you how much they hate your taste in music, or just slip a cd into a paper envelope of mystery. Each month has a theme and participants are welcome to create their mix with the theme in mind, or follow their own lead. Happy Mixing! |
