| Introduction | I was born in England last century, spending most of my childhood years in the desert of New Mexico. In the Uk I sorted out my accent, then went on to study Fine Art (BA) at the London University of the Arts and then recently at Glasgow School of Art (MFA). The other real calling for me has been to travel, to cover long distances, to just stop when everything looks (or seems) different. Something I think I could easily do for a lifetime, possibly even as a nomad.. in contrast, the studio abode has become a very important internal place (and it is still a place of travel nonetheless). |
