| Introduction | I grew up in Galveston, Texas. I have one son, who is a cancer survivor. He is now 24 years old! I was a Rasmussen before I was Mrs. Perez. I have taught First Grade for 9 years. I put teaching on the backburner when my son was ill. I earned by degree at the University of Utah and I also just finished my Masters and ESL endorsement through SUU, Yeah! I love teaching first grade. They have such enthusiasm and are such cuties! I also love to teach children how to read. Before teaching, One of my jobs while finishing college was working at Tracy Aviary, a bird refuge in Salt Lake. One time someone brought in a tiny tiny little owl that had been injured. It was a Pigme owl. Its eyes were about have the size of its body. Eversince, I have loved cute little owls! |
| Interests | I love the beach, sitting outside in the sun, good rainstorms, and reading good books. I collect bird nests (that have fallen in my yard). I kind of have a forest around my house.I love owls. However, I am not very fond of Winter. |
