| Introduction | I have been teaching elementary music since 1998. I receieved my bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Colorado at Boulder and my masters degree in music education with a Kodály emphasis from Colorado State University. I completed 4 levels of Kodály training and certification from Portland State University where I studied with Jill Trinka, Susan Brumfield and Vicki Loebell. I took additional Kodály Levels and received certification from Colorado State University. There I studied with Sue Liethold-Bowcock and Ann Eisen. I currently teach K-5 music at Red Hawk Elementary where I implement the Kodály methodology. In addition to teaching K-5 general music I also teach a 4/5 choir, 2 tone-chime choirs and a drum ensemble. |
