| Introduction | Born in South Africa & schooled in Zimbabwe. Married Hazel Field in 1965. 3 children & 7 grandchildren. University in Cape Town, South Africa.President of the Student Council & Head Student in 1962 & lead the struggle against apartheid at the University. Lived in Israel from 1966-1976. Did his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Studied 2 years in Oxford. Was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1970. On return to Israel headed department of Ob-Gyn in Safad. Came to Colorado in 1976. Did a Fellowship at the University of Colorado Medical School. Started private practice as Ob-Gyn in 1978. Chairs ActionIsrael an organization of Jews & Christians supporting Israel.Is a research fellow at Institute for the Study of Israel in the Middle East at Denver University.Chairs a Middle East Study Group & for 2 years chaired a Jewish-Muslim dialogue with leaders from both communities. Served on the Board of the Arapahoe Medical Society & the Board of the Colorado Medical Society. Chaired USA Representative Committee of the Royal College of OB-GYN for 5 years till 2006. Is in practice as a Gynecologist with Horizon Womens Care. |
