Introduction	Not too old organic gardener with two new knees that are now broken in. I had one knee replaced in May 2009 and the other in July 2009. We spend winters in Melaque Mexico; summers in Terrace BC. (Just trying to stay out of the snow!) We live in a cabin on a lake in B.C. Canada and a Mexican casa which we are renovating in Jalisco, Mexico. The Mexican casa is bigger than the BC one. We travel back and forth in our van towing a 13 foot Boler which we sleep and cook in, and only need one motel on our 6,937 km trip because we have 7 kids spaced out all the way down the route until Palo Alto CA. Driving down means that we are able to see all our family twice a year even though we all live far apart. We enjoy our travel because we are not late for anything and usually come across interesting folks as we camp in rest stops, Mexican Pemex gas stations, or Walmarts along the route.
