Introduction	I am a progressive trade-unionist who is passionate about life and enjoy talking about pretty much anything. A proud Upstate New Yorker, I miss the Empire State, but especially New York City. I love my job, my friends, and family. I enjoy and require much fun and laughter and I am also Batman. Well, not really. This is a journey, so might as well start writing it down a little.
Interests	politics, music, theatre, cycling, sports, films, movies, general debauchery, fighting the good fight, THE YANKEES, falling down, falling up, anything DOMA related. Pretty much you name it, I'll probably be interested.
Favorite movies	It's My Party, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Napoelon Dynamite, The Birdcage, Immortal Beloved, Little Rascals, Chicago, Lord of the Rings,A League of Their Own, Harry Potter, French Kiss, Weekend at Bernies (I'm so not kidding), Drop Dead Gorgeous, and Mulan.
Favorite music	Dave Matthews Band, Indigo Girls, Ani DiFranco, Dar Williams, DUFUS, Beethoven, Air Supply (yes), Mollypop, Michael Buble, The Bureau, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Garth, Showtunes, and pretty much anything. I used to hate country until I went to school in Maryland.
Favorite books	Harry Potter. Any Biographies. The Killer Angels, Mists of Avalon, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Lord of the Rings, The Professor and the Madman, and anything by David Sedaris.

If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying "poop deck"?

I wouldn't. That's pure comedy. Poop deck. Heh.
