Interests	I love spiders. I wish people would get over their fears of creepy crawly beings. I believe that our horror of crawling nature will be our undoing. I am interested in ritual, ceremony, shamanism. And stories. Most of all in stories. I'm interested in waking up and waking people up. Which is not contradicted by the fact that I'm interested in dreaming. And sleeping.
Favorite movies	I rewatched The English Patient the other day and I felt so sorry that Anthony Minghella won't make another movie. I loved The Dreamers by Bertolucci. I'm in a wistful mood.
Favorite music	Right now I'm listening to Fela Kuti, he's keeping me sane. Too many to list, seriously. From Arcade Fire to Faithless to ZZ Top with Mozart in the middle.
Favorite books	Half a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche. Wow. Fugitive Pieces, still haunting me five years later. Currently reading too much non-fiction coz novels capture me and swallow me whole and I have to 'focus' on deadlines.. bleah.
