| Introduction | So you're probably wondering by now, who is this GameLady chick? Well she isn't a chick at all: GameLady is actually Scott Kieffer, an aspiring game designer/game journalist. He got the nickname "Lady" from a fellow Guild Wars player. His main character in the MMO was named Lady Nacrustea, but since "Lady" was far easier to say, the name was shortened. Eventually the nickname translated over to the real world, where it earned some funny looks when used among mixed company, but eventually Scott got used to it. Thus, GameLady was born. Scott is a journalism major, an interactive multimedia minor, and a history minor. Over the past few years he has used his major to report on various parts of the gaming industry. His Interactive Multimedia minor has been spent doing a lot of game design at college, and he is also working on some design projects outside of school. He chose his history minor for fun, but has since put the knowledge to good use as he works on his fantasy series, the first book of which should be done soon. |
