| Introduction | I paint because I love to capture beauty as I see it. I’m thrilled to see how light falls across an object or illuminates a simple scene from nature into the extraordinary. I always loved drawing and working in oils but when I discovered pastels I realized I found a medium I loved. The immediacy of the medium and the rich buttery quality of soft pastels is extremely satisfying to me. I found acrylics to be a medium that allows my creativity to flow and my cows seem to feel at home with acrylics as I do. |
