Introduction	I live in Ladysmith British Columbia, a small town on the east coast of Vancouver Island, with my husband, Jerry. We consider ourselves retired, but seem to be busier than when we were "working"! Our time is divided between our house renovation, visiting the kids and grandkids, and short sailing trips around the Gulf Islands. When we get the chance to sail away for a few days or weeks, life on the boat recharges our batteries. We like taking lots of pictures, catching up on reading and all the little craft projects that never seem to get completed, and exploring by kayak all the little islands we encounter. Our cat used to accompany us on our trips, although not willingly, he'd rather be at home "watching" the birds. He now lives with GG, very happily enjoying the heat of Kelowna and the abdunance of wildlife (birds)!
