Introduction	I am a native Angeleno, now living the mountain country life about an hour north of LA. I teach kindergarten and first grade in the wonderful country town of Gorman, & I also work on the side as a realtor. I write a column called "Michi's Magic Bookshelf," in our monthly paper, the Mountain Pioneer, recommending my favorite children's books. I'm also an Episcopalian. I love volunteering in my community, food, wine, travel, horses, dogs & of course my family!
Interests	Travel, dogs (have 3!), horses (share one!), clothes (Boden!), food, art, nature, gardening, and wine.
Favorite music	Noisettes, Raveonettes, the Clash, Joe Strummer & the Mescoleros, Calexico, Led Zeppelin, etc.
Favorite books	A Tale of Two Cities, A Confederacy of Dunces, To Kill a Mockingbird, Animal Farm, anything by John Irving & Ray Bradbury, etc.
