| Introduction | I have so much to be thankful for--my wonderful husband and I have been married more than twenty-six years. We have been together through many things. We are the proud parents of two young people. God richly blessed us with a son, Jay, who is now twenty-one and a senior in college. We are also blessed with a daughter, Nicole, who is almost sixteen and a high school junior. We have tropical fish and a wonderful little canine family member, Lucy. I work fulltime as an educator. I am an active band booster parent and still spend serious time acting as a driver to my daughter's many activities since she is not old enough yet to have a license. I love to teach Sunday School and work with two and three year olds there. My medical journey is what has led me to write a blog--that and my sincere desire to help others. I am fighting papillary thyroid cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, IBS, a severe vitamin D deficiency, and fibromyalgia. I am hanging in there and fighting the good fight! |
