Introduction	31 year old happy female living in Portland, Oregon with 3 amazing kitties: Falafel, Chickpea and Tahini. (Yes, I love Lebanese food) Passionate about traveling, trail running, hiking, climbing mountains, reading, cooking, diy crafts, loving life, sustainability, gardening and living within my means. Simplicity. I started running in April 2011 and prefer trail runs over pavement any day! Though I have to admit, I didn't really start running 4-5 times a week until May 2012! I'm not (nor will ever be) an elite athlete, but I run for enjoyment and for myself. This blog began as a running blog and transitioned pretty quickly due to an injury (Sept 2011). Now I'm back and building to longer distances to challenge my body and mind. Plus there are some really great people out there on the trail! Distance running is always an adventure in humility, injuries/aches (learning to balance), personal accomplishments, and seeing just you're capable of.
