| Introduction | In what is often considered a very complicated world, I lead a pretty simple life - purposely so. Somewhere in the pockets of its pants, I hope to make a positive difference with my actions and the good intentions which fuel them. |
| Interests | Those of the intrinsically rewarding kind. |
| Favorite movies | Any provocative movie with poignancy, an important lesson or an installation that makes you want to become a better person. Examples are but definitely not limited to the non-formulaic following: Documentaries; Independent Movies; any kind of investigative report; health-care related stuff such as Diagnosis X, Dr. G Medical Examiner, Forensic shows or anything on the Discovery Health or Dateline ID channels; cinematic movies such as "7 Pounds;" "Into the Wild;" "The Joy Luck Club;" "The Boy in the Stripe Pajamas;" "Crash;" "Steel Magnolias;" "Life is Beautiful;" "One True Thing;" "Forrest Gump;" "The Deer Hunter;" "As Good As It Gets;" "The Tuskegee Airmen;" "The Constant Gardener;" "Babel;" "Alive: the Miracle of the Andes;" "Hotel Rwanda;" "Corrina, Corrina;" and mostly any movie involving but not limited to, the phenomenal works of Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore; Sean Penn; Robin Wright Penn; Robert Downey Jr.; Ed Harris; Don Cheadle; Philip Seymour Hoffman; William H. Macy; Renee Zellweger; Nicole Kidman; Giovanni Ribisi; Tom Hanks; Michelle Pfeiffer; Bette Midler; John C. Reilly; Uma Thurman; Evan Rachel Wood; Will Smith; Forrest Whittaker; Angela Basset; Harvey Keitel; Joe Pesci; Samuel L. Jackson; and Ed Norton. |
| Favorite music | Quite eclectic. Why distinguish one genre from another? Music is also like art. It's quite subjective. Nonetheless, good music is good music. I do and always have harbored it as a driving force behind many of my incredible memories or moments. |
| Favorite books | Partial to non-fiction where content and message are firmly rooted in reality. |
