| Introduction | I am about to embark on my doctoral comps. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment, but I know that I will get through this. While trying to juggle my class load, research, and teaching, I also find time to spend with the two men in my life: Mike (who has two legs and an obsession with things he digs up) and Harley (who has four legs and an obsession with cleaning himself). With the two of them around, my obsession has become cleaning the house and stealing the remote (especially when Law and Order is on). |
