Introduction Alan Draven lives in Quebec City, Canada. His stories have been published online, in magazines, and anthologies and can be found in two collections: The Bitternest Chronicles (2010) and Spooky Showcase (2012). His first two novels, Bitternest and Fractured Time, were published in 2007 and 2011 respectively. In 2008, he edited the gothic anthology Sinister Landscapes which went on to become a number one Amazon bestseller. He also edited and contributed a novella to the novella collection Creeping Shadows published in 2009. His third and fourth novels, Nocturnal Offerings and Heroes of the North: October Dawn, were published in 2013. His fifth novel, Oblique, a thriller penned under the pseudonym Neal Vandar (an anagram of Alan Draven), was published in 2018. Once Upon a Time in Bitternest is his final novel.
