| Introduction | So what if there's no freelance work out there in publishing land - now I have more time to work on projects at home. I love colorful and interesting cotton print and unusual trims, especially those that remind me of Latin America. Whenever I travel I try to pick up unusual fabrics, buttons and trims and use them in an item as soon as I get home. I take my inspiration from all different eras and areas of this rich culture, from pre-Columbian to lucha libre. My favorite materials are cotton prints, unusual buttons and trims, religious items like scapulars and ribbons. |
