| Introduction | I am a horse professional and a nonprofit president. For more than a decade, I have conducted research and education about the horse-human relationship with my nonprofit, Tapestry Institute. I am a lifelong equestrienne who got her first horse at 7 and never looked back. I trained in dressage with an advanced-level event rider in Massachusetts, have gentled wild Mustangs and work with rescue horses. I don't ride a particular discipline but prefer to focus on the relationship when I am riding or working with a horse on the ground. I focus on the concepts of balance, center and connection whenever I work with horses. |
