Introduction	In my family food has always been a significant part social and family gatherings. When my Catholic-Protestant background married into a family with roots in Belarus and Poland, the food thing took on a whole new meaning. Since 1990 I've been trying to figure out how we do this Christian-Jewish family food configuration. In my mild mannered alter-ego, I am also a teacher.
