Introduction Carmen Bracamonte grew up dreaming of becoming a University Professor encouraging students to become critical readers, thinkers, presenters and writers. A harmonic convergence of events conspired to bring her to Tampa Bay and realize her dream by auspiciously landing her first adjunct faculty positions at DeVry University and University of Tampa, where she promotes intellectual engagement with cultures of all kinds and help young and adult students become more discerning readers and speakers and forceful writers about the world around them. The siren call of freelance prompted Carmen to make a move to independent employment for five years providing marketing communications and public relations consulting and services, including planning and strategy, Web, media relations, brand and identity management, development communications and special projects. 2007 was a watershed year for Carmen Bracamonte. Drawn by her passion for diversity and education, she launched “LargerNet, L.L.C.,” a full service multicultural integrated marketing communications firm, providing B2B clients with effective ideas that produce results in the diverse process of casting the Hispanic consumer.
