| Introduction | I was born and raised in Southern California. I spent two years in the U.S.Army seving as a Combat Medic at Fort Carson, Colorado. I have five children, 3 biological and 2 step children. In 2005 I returned to school in search of a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, after marrying a wonderful man with a daughter with special needs. I am in my final year and a half and can not wait to get in my own classroom. I believe every student has the ability to learn, even if we as teachers do not know how much they, the students, have taken in. I believe life is a journey with many options, some leading to the "streets of gold and the pearly white gates", while others lead to heavily traveled paths of temporary joys. I, myself would rather take the path less traveled and not as easy to stay on, because I believe it is in the hardest portions of the journey that we truly grow the most. This is when and where our character comes shining through. I was created to make a difference and I choose to make it in the field of special education. Live a Life of Purpose, Worth Remembering! |
