| Introduction | Beth Legg was born in 1981 in Caithness, Scotland. She studied for both her BA and MDes at Edinburgh College of Art Jewellery Department. Beth’s pieces explore ideas of the embedded object and memory. A keen observer, her bench has been likened to a laboratory where she works instinctively with her materials rather than contriving designs beforehand. Drawing and photography also play an important part of her research process allowing Beth to record both her developments at the bench and exterior influences drawn from different landscapes. |
